Peter,
What type of email service are you using? POP or IMAP?
If you access an IMAP system, you may not need to sync email through
a program like MissingSync.
I use .mac which is an IMAP mail system. I can access my mail via
the Apple Mail client on the Mac and SnapperMail on the Treo650 and
there has never been any conflicts. If I delete an item of mail
through one client, it disappears in the other client on the
next .mac access. I can reply through either client. Even the
"read" status is correctly updated between the platforms. The
inbuilt VersaMail system on the Treo650 would also work, but I prefer
the added functionality and better reliability of SnapperMail. I use
GPRS to get the mail on the Treo. This should work fine for any IMAP
mail system.
I am not sure about POP mail systems.
Regards
Peter
