At 07:46p -0500 01/05/2006, Robert Powell didst inscribe upon an
electronic papyrus:

>GTD is Getting Things Done, a method of organizing things to, well,
>get things done, put forth in a book by David Allen. I don't follow
>the methodology 100% (I'm not sure how many do) but it is pretty
>effective and Life Balance works quite well for me in the GTD
>context.

Oh! I have that book -- it is fantastic. I'm also not 100% into its
methodology, but it is definitely one of the most valuable books out
there. :D

Speaking of organizing, I really like Smead's straight-line filing
system -- think they call it Tell-i-vision or something. Yeah...
that's what it was called, but I can't find the 25-division guide
sets on their web site anymore (the folders are still there, though).
Guess I'll use the blank-tab 1/5-cut guides and stick labels on 'em.

I've often thought that DA should get with Smead and relaunch the
straight-line filing (non-hanging) as some sort of GTD
co-branding/marketing deal....
