You can download the TextMate scripts from http://
www.markhadfield.com/dropbox/Journal.tmbundle.zip
Sorry I didn't have time to write any documentation or even annotate
the scripts with comments.
Once unzipped, move Journal.tmbundle to your ~/Library/Application
Support/TextMate/Bundles folder.
Run the scripts from TextMate's Automation -> Run Command -> Journal
menu. First select the files and/or folders that you'd like the
scripts to apply to in TextMate's project drawer.
The scripts require Tiger.
You may be able to modify the scripts for other editors. Each script
produces HTML containing the creation date, file name and content of
each of the selected files within the selected folders. TextMate
renders this in a window but I guess you could just write it to a
file and then open it in a web browser. The HTML includes links to
TextMate for each file, but I guess you could replace these with
file:// links.
You can download an evaluation of TextMate from www.macromates.com to
see how it all works.
