Leave iSync off if you use the Mark/Space conduits.

It is not.

Unless you have a mobile phone that requires you to use iSync to  
sync, I recommend not opening iSync at all; it is not needed with  
Missing Sync.

We have already requested from Apple the ability to change this. This  
is part of Sync Services and something we can't change.
