All conduits will get the Missing Sync icon. The Apple conduit is
Apple's iSync conduit; if you want to use the Mark/Space Events,
Tasks and Contacts conduits, you either need to disable the iSync/
Apple conduit in the main conduits window or remove the Apple conduit
from the conduits folder.

Yes, when you turn this on, iSync copies the iSync conduit to the
conduits folder. You can either use the iSync conduit or the Mark/
Space Events, Tasks, and Calendar conduits...not both.
