That issue I saw pre-5.0.2, it went away for me in 5.0.2. Did you do  
a "desktop overwrites handheld" when you upgraded to start clean?

It's covered in the user guide. The Palm does not support such  
events. You need to set them up as daily repeating events in iCal,  
not one event spanning days. It's a Palm limitation unfortunately.
