[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Address Book format questions with 10.4.4

(With my Intel Mac and Missing Sync I've had lots of problems, so I
jumped in with both feet to be a beta tester. I've reported odd stuff
to the beta reporting site, but still have other questions that I
hope the user community can help me with.)
Looking only at the OS 10.4.4 Address Book and my Palm OS 5.2.1r4
device (Garmin iQue 3600), I'm trying to get labels to match, in
hopes that will alleviate some of my weird problems. (Anyone else get
14 copies of two different addresses after 14 HotSyncs?) Does it
matter that when I transferred my address book data to the Intel Mac
some of the email addresses are labeled Home, some Work, some Email?
In the addresses, some are labeled Home, some Work. I realized late
that though I can have multiple addresses in 10.4.4, that only the
first will sync to the Garmin and that others will be lost. I am
using M/S Contacts. The vast majority of my email and mailing
addresses I keep changing to Email and Home, respectively, but they
don't stay that way.
(Arghh–I'll have to Restart again. Missing Sync is Not Responding,
even after a Force Quit.)
Thanks for any ideas you can offer me. Kit
