Despite the explanation, the 5.1b install did cure my problem, although I
did also install the Filemaker update as well. At least so far. I reported
it on your website.

I had a problem when trying install conduit by itself to isolate why all my
Palm side apps were trashed, so this was curious. Maybe it's related to an
issue of losing all apps, but I can't recreate those conditions.

The Filemaker problem conditions were eliminated by MS Beta install and by
reinstalling Filemaker Mobile as I said. Nothing else I could do previous to
MS beta install took care of the problem I referred to, including
reinstalling FMM (where it worked before 5.0.x upgrade). So I pin it on 5.0,
not FMM nor external conduits.

Since upgrading to 5.0 I had to reinstall all my apps and the Filemaker
databases. That's not a real good situation. It'd be nice if you got the
bugs out of 5.0 before releasing beta software for 5.1, IMO.
