I too had many problems after I upgraded from M/S v. 4+ to 5+. After lots 
of email back and forth with Support, I gave up and uninstalled v. 5+ (use 
the uninstaller in your M/S folder), installed v. 4.06 and used iSync as I 
had before the "upgrade" to 5+. I haven't a problem with synchronization 
since then. (With the new version I had many repeating events duplicate, 
triplicate, and more. I had items not sync at all. Eventually I was unable 
to have any synchronization and had to Force Quit M/S every time I 
attempted a sync. I am running Tiger (10.4.4) and using a Palm Tungsten 
T2.
