I think the nature of this list is amply indicated by the name: "The Missing
Sync DISCUSSION List".  Discussion, rather than support, being the key
difference between the type of list you describe and the actual purpose of
this list.

On the other hand, the website does quite clearly state that support
questions should be directed to support at markspace.com.

I think the names speak for themselves.
