Sorry, I should've read that closer. You even said contacts in you post!

If this error happens when you do a desktop overwrites handheld for  
contacts, then please generate a support ticket with a backup of your  
Address Book data attached: http://www.markspace.com/support/ 
emailsupport.html

We should be able to narrow it down from there.
