Hi Blaine,

Thanks for the tip.  Unfortunately I don't use Google Calendars and also my problem is in the Contacts conduit not the Events conduit.

Also, at least one important contact no longer existed on my desktop.  I had to email it to myself from the Treo as a vcf card and then re-import, then deal with the duplication issue after syncing.  Scary because I don't know if others are also missing :( .
