[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Error NSRangeException on first sync of day of MemoPad

Missing Sync 5.1.0(131) on my Powerbook G4 Mac OS X 10.4.6 yields  
this error on first sync of the day (pretty consistently):

(Mark/Space MemoPad) NSRangeException *** -[NSCFArray  
objectAtIndex:]: index (43) beyond bounds (42)

Syncing again usually succeeds.  What is the problem?
