[missing-sync-palmos-talk] What's the best way?

Hi All,
I need to use Missing Sync (MS) with Entourage to sync Entourage addresses,
calendars, tasks to my PDA as my main sync from my office desktop to my
Sony Clié. I realize that it's pretty ancient, however everything used to be
OK until... Mac announced their new database and MS adopted it. I also need
Filemaker7 database sync via FM Mobile, Palm(?) Install, Backup, MPG,
SplashWallet Suite components- SplashID, Splashshopper, SplashPohoto, and
TimeCopy.
I also would like to use another nifty MS sync feature iTunes to the Clié's
MP3 player. This clearly does not work without 'restructuring' recopying(?)
everything to the Clié, if then.
I need some connectivity between my laptop and the Splash series which used
to sync OK, but not Entourage stuff which I sync directly. I'm afraid to
even try that one!
My overall issues with the whole set up are as follows:
Compatibility. Which 'system' should I use? Entourage supports the new Mac
database system compatible with iSync, iCal, addressbook or it own internal
database, but not both. So how to decide and how to implement? Is it too
many choices? I just can't figure this out.
Multiple computers to a single PDA. I just about had figured out to use
only one desktop to one PDA for addresses and datebook/contaqct management,
but now what?
Operations/sync errors. Filemaker keeps saying that one of the databases
fails (error1) where it used to work before. That database sometimes works
and syncs by itself, but never when used in combination with others. Itunes
will not sync and crashes totally. Backup crashes occasionally forcing the
Clié to a soft reset. None of the other possible MS conduits are involved
other than mentioned here.
Can anybody help sort this out?
