[missing-sync-palmos-talk] alarm-related (?) mingling failure

Great, I was able to reproduce it as well.
The key is that the event has to be created on the desktop and the
alarm added on the handheld. It will not happen to an event created
on the handheld.
Patricia, I know you were having a similar error to this. Could this
explain the issue that you're seeing as well?
Here are the steps:
1. Create an event on the desktop. A standard 1 hour event today (non-
repeating) will work.
2. Sync it to the handheld.
3. Add an alarm on the handheld (the default 5 minutes will work).
4. sync again.
5. error in log.
