[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Detached events not syncing

iCal really does "detach" the event from the recurrence sequence.
There is no equivalent, however, on the Palm.
What we end up seeing is a recurring event with some number of
detachments. We create a recurring event for the Palm, with
exceptions on the days that are detached in iCal. Then we create new
events for the Palm that would reflect the detached iCal events.
We then remember those new events, as if there is a change we might
need to get back to the original desktop event.
So your statement about the event being a single occurrence event is
correct, but it is still tied (two ways) to the original recurring
event, and we have to do some fun stuff to keep that association intact.
