[missing-sync-palmos-talk] pTunes?

I finally got a SD card (scandisk, 2Gb, $76 amazon). Then I tried to 
import some tunes.
As we all know, AAC format doesn't work. So I converted one CD's worth 
of songs to MP3.
I then created a playlist for them, added them in, and told missing sync 
(5.1) to sync them with my Palm TX.

The good news: some of them synced and play great.
The bad news: I got errors in the sync log saying that some of them 
couldn't be used, and those were not transfered.

How can I get the rest of those songs into pTunes if Missing Sync 
refuses them? I converted them within iTunes, so what more can I do? 
Some of the songs from the same CD converted fine - in fact, most of them.

?

ps - as a side note, while syncing iTunes stuff, the message is syncing 
TimeCopy, which is blantantly nonesenes.
