It would take a significant amount of engineering as far as I can  
tell to implement this. Smart Folders are queries and we'd have to  
generate the query (the query could take a lot of time depending on  
your criteria), reference back to the original files and then do the  
sync. Nothing is impossible, but it is highly unlikely that we'll  
implement this any time in the near future.
