Thanks to whoever posted the suggestion of SyncML (I've mislaid the email) - it means I can leave
behind a whole host of problems I was having. And of course, with MS' provision of an internet
connection, it's still on-topic:-)

After struggling with Oracle for over year in a Mac/Palm context, I have no hesitation recommending
using this method to avoid a whole range of problems. It does add a step (it's not a conduit method) but it
is far more effective. Using the conduit led to loss of data, endless reduplication and very sluggist response
- as well as requiring the use of the Oracle Mac software. Now I can use PD again AND comply with the
