Its definitely not something that I know is wrong - yours is unique.
Have you tried creating a new calendar, adding one event to it, and
setting that as the only calendar to sync? I'd be interested to know
if a simple case works for you.
Otherwise, to get on with your life, rolling back would be your best
bet at this time. I'm sorry.
