I just switched back to using drive mode to copy my images. I want to  
be able to set them as a background and view them in the Media app  
from Palm, without having to install them onto a separate card. I  
like the iPhoto and iTunes conduits, I think the implementation could  
have been a bit better. Perhaps just have the conduit stick the files  
in the "default" folders the Palm Pilots already have in place those  
media types?
