[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Syncing with address book

I'm currently syncing my Palm with Now Contact but I'm considering syncing
with the address book instead. However, after reading the manual I don't
understand how the categories on my Palm are mapped to groups in the address
book.

If I have a person that belongs to group A, B and C. In what category does
the person end up on my Palm?

If a person belongs to two groups, one that is synced and another that isn't
synced, will the person sync to my palm?

Are smart groups synced?
