[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Missing Sync crashes and Tiger

Just to add my voice to the foregoing -- I have not yet installed Tiger, 
still have 10.3.9. I am still occasionally (not often) experiencing that same 
strange initial "quickie" crash that you're talking about; it usually resolves 
itself with a second hotsync so I've never paid much attention to it. This 
morning it occurred just after I had deleted an outdated version of Pocket Quicken 
in the process of installing an updated version. Error message reported lost 
connection, to recheck settings. Probably a week or more had passed before any 
previous hot sync so I can't report any other specific activity - could've been 
most anything. -Bev
