Thanks, Eric. I think you may find that your comment about Cingular: "This
is probably somewhat better now that they have merged
with AT&T." may prove to be something of an understatement, and put previous
evaluations out of date. I was with AT&T (on a Nokia) for many years, and in
my more restricted travels-with-phone, pretty well confined to the West
Coast, the AT&T coverage alone was pretty good. Anyway, time will tell. I'm
giving it a go.
