Yes, it's fine.

It depends on the type of battery.  NiCd and NiMH batteries need to be
drained down before recharging or they develop "memory".  Lithium Ion
and Lithium Polymer batteries prefer "short shallow" discharge cycles
(in other words, they live longest if they're put through fewer deep
discharges).

The TC's battery is of the lithium variety, so it's fine to leave it
on the cradle.
