I do see your point. I like the Apple apps for a number of reasons, too.
But I've always preferred Entourage's all-in-one approach.
I was surprised and disappointed when the Apple apps were delivered  
as separate apps.
I assume that this enables Apple to maximize the development of the  
individual components, while building integration features along the  
way. But I'd prefer a single app.
