That's true on the Mac side of things.

On the Windows side, I was never able to get HotSync to work in  
VirtualPC.

It took Palm Desktop AGES to install (I kept thinking it had locked  
up).  While you're waiting, be sure you have High Background RAM set  
if you don't want to grow old waiting.
