[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Missing addresses after syncing with Mac address book

I'm puzzled by some strange behavior with my Treo 650 and Missing Sync.
After syncing with the Mac OS X 10.4.2 Address Book, most of the records do
not include the address on the Palm, even though the addresses are there on
the Address Book file. This affects about 500 of my 750 or so addresses.

Has anyone else encountered this? Any ideas how to resolve it?

I've tried removing the device and adding it again. I've tried forcing the
Address book to overwrite the Palm rather than syncing. I've tried Bluetooth
and cable syncing methods. Same problem each time. Information that was
changed in both places is accurately represented, except for addresses. This
affects both home and work addresses. I'm at a loss as to how to deal with
this but it is incredibly annoying because I depend on those addresses when
I travel or send mail, etc.
