You just need the conduit. If you have two machines, or make a partition,
you could install PDT from the Treo CD to that machine/partition, make a
copy of the Media conduit, then move that to your Missing Sync machine.

Unfortunately Palm doesn't make that conduit available outside of the
installer. It would be great if it were an install option, or available
alone at their web site.
