[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Missing sync of photos

According to my Treo 650 Manual, photos on the Treo are supposed to sync to
~/Pictures/palmOne Photos/[my username]/ on a Mac as JPEG files. I don't
know which conduit is meant to do this synching.
I do have such a folder on my G5, so I think it may have worked at one
point. But I have in there is an empty subfolder named "Internal", no JPEGs.
Meanwhile I have two photos on the Treo (the first ones I've taken after an
earlier set a while ago before I did a hard reset removing them).
Is there anything I can do to jump-start the synching of photos?
(Incidentally, what happens if I then move the photos from the palmOne
Photos folder on the computer? Is that interpreted as a deletion and deletes
them from the Treo on the next sync?) Am I missing a conduit, or enabling
one, or what do I do about it? At the moment I'm using only the Entourage,
Backup, Install and TimeCopy conduits,
I'm not ready to get either a Memory Stick or that SplashPhoto app referred
to by the MS Manual, unless I really need to. Shouldn't the photos just
download from the Treo?
