I don't think you need to be worried about being slammed by anyone
here.  E2Sync definitely doesn't appear to be ready for prime-time.

As an update to my own experience, I did finally manage to get e2sync
un-installed by deleting it from the iSync application folder
manually, as directed in the documentation ( I couldn't perform the
first step -- removing the e2 icon from iSync, because e2 kept locking
iSync up solidly).

The fact that the documentation told me to go into the app folder to
remove e2sync should have been my first warning... any software that
requires that level of hackery just to un-install is obviously full of
bad juju.
