thank you for that full answer Catherine. It helped me narrow down the problem, at least. I'll look out for
the beta - unless I've sent it back (which is becoming increasingly likely, given the problems I am having).


Obviously I have a problem with Drive mode independently of other software then - and an IR one too.
If anyone has a Lifedrive and is willing to compare notes on a couple of odd issues, I'd be very grateful if
they got in touch privately - or if you know of a forum I can go to to double-check whether I have
hardware or software issues, etc.
