Using the LifeDrive with the Missing SYnc for sync functionality has
no special requirements other than installing the Missing Sync and
choosing a PIM conduit. If you intend on syncing with Palm Desktop
conduits, install Palm Dekstop from the CD that comes with the
LifeDrive PRIOR to installing the Missing Sync.

There are two conduits not presently supported on the LifeDrive with
the Missing Sync 4.0.5 - those are the Media conduit (version
2.5.0.13) and the LifeDrive Backup Conduit which is a new conduit for
the LifeDrive. You can use the Missing Sync Backup conduit to backup
the data on your LifeDrive. We will be releasing a beta version of
the Missing Sync that adds support for the Media and LifeDrive backup
conduits. Look for the beta release soon and there will be an
announcement made on this list when it is available.

The issue of the DriveMode is not a syncing issue but a desktop
mounting issue. The Missing Sync provides a handheld application that
allows most users to mount their device's SD card on the Mac desktop.
The handheld Missing Sync app is not supported with the LifeDrive. If
you want to mount the drive or the SD card on the Mac desktop for
easy file transfer, you can use the LifeDrive application which comes
already installed on the LifeDrive. Once the drive or the SD card are
mounted on the desktop, you can take advantage of the iPhoto and
iTunes plugins that come with the Missing Sync allowing you easy
export of JPEGs and copying of MP3s to your device.
