Actually the issues were in the ePocrates AutoUpdate conduit and not
Missing Sync. However, ePocrates released an update several weeks ago
that works with the Missing Sync.

If you are trying to read the PDFs on your Palm, you can't just install
them to your handheld. You have to either use Documents To Go (it
doesn't do a great job converting PDFs) or you need to install Adobe
Reader for Palm OS:
AdobeReader305-PalmOS.dmg> and use the software that comes with it to
read PDFs (it will convert the PDFs to a format that the handheld can
read).
If you are using certain CLIEs (however it doesn't appear that you
are), they can read PDFs natively. The only caveat is that you have to
mount the card and move the files over as the reader on the devices
doesn't properly register that it handles PDF files. (There is also
another product that natively handles PDFs, but I can't remember its
name.)
