The conduit should be software specific, not hardware. I have had an iMac
G5 running Mac OS X.3.x for several months now and did not have trouble
installing iSync. My understanding is that Missing Sync actually uses the
iSync conduit, so if you'll need to get the iSync conduit installed for
Missing Sync to be able to sync your .mac account, iCal, and Address book.
If you are still using the Palm Desktop to manage your contacts and
calendar, you won't need iSync anyway.
