Dear All,
I'm tempted to buy Missing Sync to handle a connection problem but
would appreciate your comments on whether MS will in fact solve it.
I can no longer initiate a sync by pressing the star symbol on my
Tungsten E, using the USB cable. I don't know why. And there's no way
of initiating from HotSync on the Mac. And now that Palm have done away
with their old cradle, I can't initiate from there!
I downloaded the iSync Palm Conduit from Apple, hoping to do my syncing
that way: only to get the message 'iSync Palm cannot be installed on
this computer'. (Presumably because the iMac G5 is relatively new and a
conduit update hasn't been developed?)
So! I'm hoping that Missing Sync will solve the problem. I realise that
I'm asking you to guess what's led to the inability to sync between
TungstenE and Mac, but am hoping that someone out there has encountered
the same symptoms.
Presumably Missing Sync's ability to use Airport and Bluetooth gives me
two alternative ways.
Many thanks,
Devi Jankowicz
