GMail does publish atom feeds. I don't have a reader for Atom feeds
off the top of my head, but there must be one. Gmail's atom feeds are
of the format:
http://gmailusername:password@gmail.google.com/gmail/feed/atom/
Fill in your username and password into the Atom reader, and you should be set.
