You've found Missing Sync's feature which lets you mount your Palm's SD card
as a disk on your Mac's desktop. The Missing Sync program on the Palm talks
to a Missing Sync extension on your Mac to do the magic.

If you haven't got an SD card in your Palm, you don't want to run the
Missing Sync program on the Palm.

I've got no clues on the connection problem though, sorry. You could try
installing the latest 4.0.3 beta, available from:
