AJ,

I'm not SURE I understand what you are asking...but I have tried several
configurations to make sure I covered what you are asking. I think it is the
first one, but I'm not certain. If I somehow missed the configuration,
please let me know and I'll try it.

- Computer connects to the network via Airport (no Ethernet cable) and the
device is connected via USB cradle. Device's network connection set to
Windows RAS. MS set to Internet Sharing. Result: The device has no problem
getting Internet connectivity...this works.

- Computer connected to the network, MS is set to Synchronization, device is
IN the cradle, using the Airport internet connection. Result: this
works...and you can run a HotSync and the connection to the Internet is
still there after the sync completes

- Computer connected to the network with an Ethernet cable, Airport set up
to share the Internet connection, no other Airport router or hub available.
Device's network set to use Wi-Fi. Result: This too works...no problem
connecting to the Internet.
