Henry,

Have you reported this issue? I checked our support database and didn't
see any thing from you about this. While we do our best to ensure
compatibility, it is very difficult for us to investigate issues that
aren't reported. However, your issue is most likely not a Missing Sync
issue; I did a brief search on issues with FileMaker Mobile and came up
with the following from MacInTouch:

Subject: Possible FileMaker Mobile 2.1 Bug

I believe I may have stumbled across a bug in FileMaker Mobile 2.1 that
results in data loss.

Specifically, I synched my Palm Tungsten T (Palm Desktop 4.1, Mac OS X
10.2.6, version 2.1.1.17 of the FileMaker Mobile conduit) and forgot to
open the corresponding database on my computer (created in FileMaker
Pro 6.0v4).

After opening the database on the computer and synching again, I found
that any new data (since the previous synch) entered into the handheld
version of the database disappeared from the handheld, and did not
transfer over to the computer version of the database. No other data
was lost on either the handheld version or the computer version.

I've done this twice now, and I've had the same result both times. I
haven't had a chance to see if synching without having the database
open causes the data loss, or if after doing that, trying to synch with
the database open causes it, but one way or the other, this is a
problem."

You will note that this user is using the same version of FileMaker Pro
and FileMaker Mobile that you are and is NOT using Missing Sync
(Missing Sync for Palm OS 4 didn't come out for more than a year after
this post). So, it would look to me like this is an issue with
FileMaker Mobile completely independent of Missing Sync. Also note that
this issue was described more than 1.5 years ago. While I understand
that not everyone can/will upgrade to FileMaker Pro 7 and the
corresponding FileMaker Mobile, I have to believe that many issues are
fixed with the new combination.
