[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Backup conduit will not restore in Missing Sync 502!

My Backup folder has 15MB of data and I am unable to restore back to my 
Treo after a Hard Reset (for firmware update).  Everytime I choose 
restore,  I am prompted to confirm I want to restore during the HotSync, I 
choose Yes, and it finishes in a few seconds...with none of my date 
restored....I have also tried a Hard Reset again and no change.

In addition, the rights of the Backups folder are set to No access...when 
I change to allow Finder access, it changed back after every HotSync 
restore attempt

I have sent three message to MarkSpace support and I am not getting any 
reponce.  It's been over a week now.
