[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Missing Sync 5.0.2 causes max cpu usage and fails

Hi again

It's been more than a week since I managed to sync
succesfully. Even with a very bare bones setup
synchronization fails. I just tried an install /
backup / AvantGo / MemoPad / TimeCopy sync and on the
Palm it just stopped at "Synchronizing MissingSync" -
I let it run for around 6 hours (I was out anyway). As
usual it was Conduit Manager that wasn't responding
when I came back home.

I had really hoped for something that just worked when
I paid $40 :( - I thought the people were exaggerating
on versiontracker.com feedback, but it seems they
weren't. In my case it really does take hours to sync
- when it finally succeeds (two or three times) - I
have found no solution that actually works every time
yet.

There was no feedback from programmers last time (as
far as I know) - I'm wondering whether this is a known
problem and it is being addressed or if I should just
accept that I lost $40 and move on.

I hope I don't offend anyone with my tone, but I am
getting more than a little frustrated, so it might be
coloured to some extent (also I'm not a native speaker
of English).

I can live with a sluggish sync if I can just get it
to sync at all.

Best regards,
Thomas
