[missing-sync-palmos-talk] can't sync despite troubleshooting advice in manual

It is still running the BT sync (which i'd like to leave running for now...) but in the meantime, can you confirm/deny that the power is on a separate wire? because it charges perfectly well.

I also did a soft reset. I'm loathe to erase it but I guess I'll have to if this persists.
