[missing-sync-palmos-talk] can't sync despite troubleshooting
advice in manual

Did you follow the step as outlined in troubleshooting:
" If you are connecting via USB, plug directly into a port on your
Mac. Open the System Profile
utility (/Applications/Utilities/System Profile) and select the USB
section. After tapping the
HotSync button on your device, from the System Profile View menu,
choose Refresh. Your
device should appear in the list as a Palm Handheld. "
The handheld won't show up in System Profiler until you start the
HotSync. If it still doesn't show up, then it would appear to be a
hardware issue with either your LifeDrive or your Mac. (If your Mac
can't see the LifeDrive, Missing Sync can't work.)
