[missing-sync-palmos-talk] 5.0.2 stopped working after crash

I had been using 5.0.2 without any problems, then, when I tried to  
install a pdb file, the program crashed, and wouldn't reload.

Now, whenever I try to start 5.0.2 the icon bounces in the dock for a  
while then stops. I have uninstalled it, reverted to iSync Palm  
Conduit (which works as well as did i.e. OK but not great). Then,  
I've reinstalled 4.0, which works OK (with all the known  
limitations). BUT, I can't get 5.0.2 to open at all.

Has anyone experienced a problem like this? Or, is there a known way  
to get 5.0.2 up and running again?

(The only thing I can think of is that my migration to 5.0.2 was from  
4.0 to 5.0.1... could that have made a difference?).

Computer used: TiPB 500 MHz, running OS 10.4.3. Palm used: Tungsten T3.
