Missing Sync for PalmOS

Hi all,
A couple things -
1. I actually checked the results of the erase and
sync again, and found that it did in fact work.
However, after one or two syncs, it starts failing
again with the same message.
2. My treo was also low on space the first time I got
the message,
so I deleted some things, so it's 50% now. Still
syncing and failing with the same error message.
3. I also tried the disk utility that came with OS
10.3.9, and synced. Same thing.
4. I'd like to stay at 10.3 if I can; I ran software
update, and I have the latest for 10.3.9.
5. I partially agree with Michael Thompson's gripe...
Apple has taken some stuff that runs without tweaking
on some other unixes, and Iv'e often found it's just
easier to install an open source app on a linux
machine than to futz with fink or whatever. I install
x code tools, gcc updater, etc. from
developer.apple.com, but for the time I put into doing
that, it's often easier to just put it on a linux box.
But I must say, it's definitely worlds better than
Windows :)
Irrelevant of this, missing sync is still an
additional layer on top of isync, so that's one thing
I'll try, i.e. syncing without missing sync, to rule
out the problem. If I still get the error, emailing
this list may be a moot point.
6. ".. you should run all the cron routines,
> rebuild your
> permissions, test for corrupted preferences,
> possibly run
> DiskWarrior,..."
Cron routines? I don't have any. Are there supposed
to be some installed by Missing sync?
[barnabas:~] burvil% crontab -l
crontab: no crontab for burvil
[barnabas:~] burvil% sudo crontab -l
Password:
crontab: no crontab for root
[barnabas:~] burvil%
Also, I ran repair permissions under disk utility,
which I think takes care of the rest of the things you
mentioned (except for Disk Warrior). I should be able
to get a copy of that sometime this week and test it.
