You're using Unix. Yes, it's Unix with a pretty face called
Aqua, but it's still Unix. And cron is a utility that has existed
within Unix for decades. It's provided by Apple, as part of the OS.
So, it doesn't do a damn bit of good to be complaining about things
that Apple has provided and then trying to use those as an excuse to
go back to so-called "standard" Apple software, since Apple provided
the software you're complaining about in either case.
Same goes for iSync. No sense bitching about it here, because
Apple created it, and Apple is responsible for fixing it. And it
doesn't make any sense to bitch and moan about MissingSync not fixing
this problem and going back to "standard" Apple software (like
iSync), because Apple created this problem in the first place.
If you're going to bitch and moan about something, the first
thing you need to do is to better understand just what it is that
you're bitching and moaning about, and then figure out where it is
that you should bitch and moan in order to try to get the problem
corrected.
