[missing-sync-palmos-talk] Failed Sync

A brief update -- I'm still in the same boat, after trying a few
different things including a bluetooth sync.
Here's the iSync log:

from the Palm, the connection to the device may have been lost.
5:15:33 PM Error Conduit stuPalm generated exception
NSSyncConduitException: Calendar records could not be retrieved from
the Palm, the connection to the device may have been lost..
5:15:33 PM Error can't connect to the device to synchronize stuPalm.
5:15:36 PM Getting all calendars and To Do items from Backup
