Now I've just had the entirely opposite experience.

I mistakenly left my cable at home on Friday. I had to hard-reset my T5 and with no cable I thought there was no way to get everything back.

Bluetooth sync worked perfectly (but ever so slowly) and I did a complete restore.

I've never used BT sync before because it's just so much slower than cable. But it's good to know I can if needed.
