Have you contacted support about this? Please make sure you include a
debug log (hold down command and option when choosing Preferences and
turn on "Turn on logging" and "Log packets" and make sure you include
~/Library/Logs/MissingSyncLog.txt with your report to support.

In most cases, Missing Sync relies on the current conduit to
acknowledge the cancel. Most conduits do not acknowledge the cancel
and never terminate. Some conduits such as backup should terminate
after the next file is backed up.

Sample isn't telling you the whole story; Missing Sync is still
actively trying to talk to the device which is using the CPU.

When you force quit "it", you're only force quitting the user
interface application. There are still 2 other processes, Conduit
Manager, and Monitor that are still running and have gotten confused.

This mailing list doesn't accept attachments as I don't think
everyone wants to receive a copy of your sample output.
I don't have any specific suggestions, but when you contact support
make sure you include a list of conduits that you are syncing. Have
you tried turning off certain conduits? Does the Sync Log show anything?
